Sabrina Sato shines at Sephora ball as “Madame of Exaggerations”

Fantasy mixes elements of the 18th century and modern aesthetics to discuss the pursuit of perfection

Presenter Sabrina Sato once again stole the show at the sixth edition of the Sephora Halloween Ball, held this Saturday 18th in Sao Paulo. Known for her elaborate and creative productions, Sabrina has emerged as the “Madame of Exaggerations,” a character who mixes an 18th-century French aristocrat with a plasticized modern woman.

The costume, created specifically for the event, alludes to the obsession with appearance and the incessant search for aesthetic perfection. With a monumental wig, a corset and exuberant makeup, Sabrina brought to light a reflection on how exaggeration spans centuries and continues to be present in forms of expression and beauty.

In a video published on social media, the presenter explained the concept behind the character. “Straight from the French courts comes Madame dos Exaggerations: a time traveler who crosses the centuries to prove that exaggeration has never gone out of fashion.”

Sabrina continues the message, drawing a parallel between past and present: “Today she reappears to demonstrate that nothing has changed: everything is driven by the same desire to fit into an ideal that has never existed. Transforming her body and going beyond limits, to strengthen the timeless message: beauty lives even in the unexpected, in the imperfect line, in what we identify with most deeply.”
