How close are you familiar with the work of the group “Korol i Shut”? Did it become closer to you after filming?

The irony of fate, but a week before the audition, I decided to listen to “The King and the Jester”, and I really liked it. When they sent the script, I laughed that I had been preparing for the auditions for a week. When I saw Kostya Plotnikova at the first meeting, I thought: “This is a casting!”. And when I was approved, I thought that the casting director was a genius. (Laughs)

You play the role of Mikhail’s wife – Olga. Have you met her in real life?

No, alas, it didn’t work. We created the image with the director and those people who knew her personally.

How difficult is it to play a real character? Where is the fine line between reality and fiction?

Complexity is responsibility. Where is the fine line? When you carefully and lovingly approach the performance of real people, this is probably the closest, if not to the truth, then to art.

Movies and series about musicians are quite popular. What films of this genre would you like to mention?

My favorite movie in this genre is Walk the Line about Johnny Cash. This picture opened his music to me, and now I’m a fan of country music.

February 9th was your birthday. What discoveries did you make in yourself this year?

Phew … Over the past year, I had to quickly grow up, if not to say, grow old. What did I open … Mortgage, for example. (Laughs) In myself, every year I discover new puzzles of growing up, in which there are more and more small and complex details. Every year the rules of the game in life change – I study, relearn, take time outs and tips from friends.

What qualities do you value in people?

Sense of humor, generosity and love for people.

You have two sons. With which of them is it easier for you to find a common language now?

To each his own approach. What worked for the older doesn’t work for the younger. And vice versa. But I hardly educate them, we have a mutual process.

Will you watch the sequel to “Daddy’s Daughters”?

Of course I’m curious. I hope it will be a good product. There is a great children’s casting!

In what projects will we see you this year?

In the punk fairy tale “The King and the Jester” on Kinopoisk. Ivy recently released the series “I want I can’t”. There will be a few more projects, but I can’t reveal their names yet. You’ll see for yourself soon!
