The Museum of Moscow opened the exhibition “The House of Models. The Industry of Images”. The project, timed to coincide with the centenary of the first Fashion Atelier, introduces the history of Soviet fashion in images, sketches, patterns and fabrics. The exhibition, curated by art historian Ksenia Guseva, is based on a unique extensive study and continues the museum’s series of exhibitions dedicated to artistic experiments of the 20th century – “Moscow Fabrics”, “VKHUTEMAS 100. Avant-Garde School” and “Electrification. 100 Years of the GOELRO Plan”. Alla Shchipakina, fashion historian, art critic of the All-Union House of Fashion Models, acted as the scientific consultant of the exhibition.
The grand opening was attended by businessmen and celebrities: Alena Doletskaya, Nelli Kobzon, Tatyana Mikhalkova, Ida Galich, Elena Krygina, Elena Pinskaya, Masha Tsigal and many others.
