Kelly and Syd met while Slipknot were at Ozzfest in 1999. Since then they have become friends. And now they are very happy together.

In 2004, when the girl confessed to her parents that she was using drugs, she was placed in a rehabilitation center, where she later returned twice due to relapses – in 2005 and 2009. Kelly quit drinking in 2017, but relapsed again last April.
