The series “Trigger” – a story about a psychologist with a special approach to patients – has been leading the top 10 most popular films and series of Kinopoisk for two months in a row. Yesterday, May 13, at the Moscow cinema they showed how the second season would end. The guests of the special screening were the film crew of the series, as well as artists, producers, directors, screenwriters of Kinopoisk projects, representatives of the film industry and bloggers. Roman Mayakin, Andrey Merzlikin, Sabina Akhmedova, Daria Charusha, Polina Aug, Yan and Liza Tsapnik and others were seen among those present.

I am grateful to the producer Sasha Remizova that she had the idea of ”Trigger”, that she promoted it and defended my candidacy for the main role. I am grateful to the director’s team. For me, the sixteen-series format was a very scary thing until the moment when I started working with it. And I was very lucky with my partners on the set: I am happy to learn from them and be in the same frame with them, – said the lead actor Maxim Matveev, introducing the final series to the audience.

In the second season of Trigger, I had a very difficult role. My heroine, because of a childhood trauma, is afraid to give birth, one way or another to come into contact with children in life. We are not alike, but the writers wrote the story so clearly that I can understand my character. Thanks to Maxim Matveev and my friend, project producer Sasha Remizova, it seems to me that I did quite well, – Ekaterina Varnava shared.
At the show, it became known that Kinopoisk and Channel One were working on a full-length sequel to Trigger. For the first time, the author of the idea and producer of the series, Alexandra Remizova, will be the director, and Irina Starshenbaum will play one of the main roles together with Maxim Matveev. Filming will begin this summer.
