Biah and Sorocaba’s visit to the country has a religious purpose. Together with pastor Deive Leonardo, the couple are learning the story of Jesus, according to a press release.
This Tuesday, Biah shared a video of the two being baptized in the Jordan River, the same place indicated in the Bible where Jesus would be baptized. “When I was 12 I was baptized and I knew God by hearsay, today I am married with 2 children and I renew my covenant with the God that I not only hear, but I KNOW him!”, Biah wrote in the caption of the video of the moment on Instagram.
“A promise came true today. Not that I haven’t had an experience with Jesus at home, but to be here and experience something supernatural…and different, and look and live what’s in the scriptures!” says Biah.
