Ivan, they write on the Internet that you have hundreds of tattoos. How many are there really? What was the first?

Honestly, I never counted them, there are a lot of them. The first tattoo was a quote from Iron Man about spawning your own demons. My mother is an artist, I have been familiar with art since childhood, from an early age I developed a love for beauty.

At what age did you realize that you wanted to be different from others? What was the first experiment with appearance?

I have always loved bright and textured things, in everything. In music, literature, video games, film and clothing. If I’m not mistaken, the first time I dyed my hair black and got a black piercing was at the age of 13. By the way, because of this, there were a huge number of problems at school, and in principle in society.

Why is external outrageousness important to you? What exactly do you want to express through appearance?

The thing is, I don’t think it’s outrageous. What you see is just a reflection of my taste preferences, nothing more.

How did you get into music?

I listened to hard rock with my dad almost every day, and on weekends my mom and I sang Soviet romances in a duet. Therefore, by the way, in my work there is so often a diversity of genres.

At the age of 7, I went to study at a music school on the course of guitar, piano, and vocals. At this age, it is difficult to fully realize all the craving for music. And of course, at times it was very boring to study musical notation, but I am incredibly grateful to all the teaching staff of the music school. They not only taught to feel and create music, they taught culture. From speech to presenting themselves in society, they brought up gentlemen. This is an invaluable experience.

What inspires you?

I think that it will not be possible to give a concise answer to this question, since most often life and soul are the main sources of inspiration. It’s no secret that the number of facets and worlds that fit into human souls is immense. I really enjoy exploring them.

Can you say that now, at 23, you definitely understand that you have chosen your own business? Or do you admit that this is a test, and everything can change?

Music, of course, is the love of my life. But these questions increasingly keep me awake at night. I often think about it, there is a desire to just be alone in silence. But you know, when I take a step onto the stage and see my favorite listeners, it very effectively awakens my consciousness and gives me hope that my faith in the love and beauty of this world is not in vain.

What is recognition for you?

I am not guided by thoughts of recognition, popularity, hype, views, these are not the energies that drive me when I create my songs.

I just really love making music, I love listening to music, I love seeing people’s eyes burning with passion and seething with life at concerts. The ability to inspire can not only cause you to create a new work of art, it can make you immortal.

Your song “My hooligan” became an international hit. To whom is it dedicated?

In my youth, like most teenagers, I was invisible and, no doubt, a very lonely person. “My hooligan” is a letter of love that was not destined to be born.

The worst thing is not even that my lyrical hero, from a long absence of feelings, began to create his own worlds, instead of living in the present, but the fact that the longer you are alone, the more you will like it. It’s horrible. And in such a scenario, there are no happy endings.

Are you in love now?

In love. And I am very grateful to those who created us, for the fact that I experienced true love at a young age. I am now 23 years old. Many people live half their lives without knowing this feeling.

Who is the most important person in your life? What are you willing to do for him?

All my family. I am ready to do anything for the smiles and happiness of my loved ones. As would any self-respecting man.
