Australian actor Hugh Jackman has revealed that he has begun screening for a recurrence of skin cancer. On social networks, he shared information that he managed to do two biopsies as part of a medical examination.

I wanted you to hear this from me in case anyone sees me on the street. I just had two biopsies. I was at my doctor, — said the artist in a personal blog.

Jackman assured fans that he would give them the results of the biopsy when he found out. The actor is being examined for a possible recurrence of skin cancer – basalioma. He noted that basalioma is the “least dangerous” of all skin cancers.

Jackman was first diagnosed with skin cancer in 2013. The actor himself spoke about this on social networks. He showed a photograph in which his face was covered with a band-aid. After the news that the actor had basalioma, Jackman underwent surgery to remove the malignant tumor. A year later, the Hollywood star was forced to again undergo procedures for the treatment of skin cancer. By that time, the ill-fated basal actor had been removed for the third time. Ultimately, Jackman underwent about six surgeries over three years of treatment.

Hugh Jackman continues to actively prepare for the role of Wolverine in the third part of “Deadpool”. The actor shared a list of strength exercises and told what he eats to gain the desired weight. The 54-year-old star posted photos to his social media showing six different dishes in jars that included not only the ingredients but also the calories.
