Actor Jonathan Majors, best known for playing Kang the Conqueror in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum Mania, has lost film roles. Entertainment 360 terminated his contract. According to Vanity Fair, several managers of various projects refused to work with the actor at once. The reason for this decision was the recent accusations of domestic violence. Now the actor is under arrest.
Majors was also excluded from the list of persons who were supposed to participate in the filming of advertising baseball club “Texas Rangers”. Also, he will not appear in the adaptation of The Man in My Basement, where he was supposed to star alongside Willem Dafoe. However, the role of Kang the Conqueror in the Marvel films is still reserved for the actor. The company has not yet discussed its replacement.
At the end of March, Majors was detained on charges of assaulting a woman. Her name is not revealed. It is known that she was taken to the hospital with head and neck injuries. The actor’s lawyer insisted on the innocence of her client. She claims that the victim had an “emotional crisis”. According to the lawyer, there is some evidence that proves Majors’ innocence. A hearing in his case is expected on May 8.

Earlier, 74-year-old French actor Gerard Depardieu was accused of violence. 13 women stated that he behaved inappropriately towards them. All these incidents took place over many years – from 2004 to 2022. The victims said that the artist touched them obscenely, and also made vulgar offers to them. Some of the girls wished to remain anonymous.
