Simony used his Instagram profile last Wednesday, 26, to share a video of his oncologist, Fernando Maluf, in which he explains that he will have to resume treatment against the bowel cancer.
According to him, the artist has had a very good response from treatment with chemotherapy and radiotherapy, but “still has points of disease activity”. Therefore, the artist will have to resume treatment with chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
In the post’s caption, Simony said he was “preparing for another fight” and thanked the medical team for their support.
In December of last year she was hospitalized to complete her treatment. “Hospitalized for the last stretch. I’m just thankful. God carried me this far,” she wrote.
