Pepe Aguilar made a clarification about his appearance as a grandfather after the birth of his first granddaughter several months ago.
At the end of 2022, the singer’s firstborn, Emiliano, and his partner, Violeta, became parents of a little girl.
Although, last January, the young woman told Despierta América that her father-in-law had already congratulated her on the arrival of the baby, she has now revealed that he has not met her.
Pepe Aguilar has not seen his granddaughter in person
On April 25, Pepe Aguilar offered a concert in the state of Aguascalientes, Mexico, and the press approached him to ask him, among other things, how he feels now that he is a grandfather.
“I still haven’t started living it (my scene as a grandfather),” he said in statements presented by “Ventaneando” this Wednesday.
“I don’t know the girl of course, (I only have) pictures of her,” said the father of Aneliz, Leonardo and Ángela Aguilar.
The “For Women Like You” actor did not elaborate on why he has yet to see the girl who raised his dynasty in person.
According to El Heraldo de México, Emiliano currently lives between San Diego, California and Tijuana, Baja California, with Violeta.
In September 2021, four years into his prison sentence for the crime of human trafficking, he claimed that his relationship with his father was perfect.
“I am very happy, very grateful to him and very happy with my family, I love them very much,” he said before the microphone of the aforementioned TV show.
The news of the then-imminent paternity of Pepe’s first-born son was announced by Francisca during a broadcast of Despierta América.
“We have already confirmed that Emiliano, who was the result of his first marriage to Carmen Treviño, will become a father for the first time with his girlfriend of many years,” the presenter said.
She pointed out that although the pregnancy was a surprise, all members of the family felt very happy and “waited sweetly”.

In August 2022, Pepe Aguilar told Despierta América that he was happy because he would already be a grandfather. however he didn’t know if he wanted to be called that.
“I have no idea. Right now I have a lot of pugs, a lot of dogs, those are my grandkids right now,” the singer-songwriter said.
“I’m 54, as if I’m not old enough to be a grandfather yet, call me whatever you want,” he added calmly.
