Adnet says it is being pressured by Bolsonarists to mock Lula

In an interview for singer Mano Brown’s podcast Mano a Mano, Adnet was asked about the freedom of humor

Comedian Marcelo Adnet said he is under pressure from the Bolsonarists to make jokes against the government of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. She said she has acquaintances who voted for the former president and are taking it out on the 41-year-old artist.

In an interview for singer Mano Brown’s podcast Mano a Mano, Adnet was asked about the freedom of humor, stating that it is law.

At this point, Adnet said those close to him want him to “lack contempt” for Lula, just as he has “discussed” Bolsonaro, but that he “doesn’t have that obligation.”

“Dude, there’s a whole universe to go through [nas piadas], you can choose what you will talk about, you don’t have to talk about everything, nobody is… my friends, or well-known Bolsonarists, say ‘damn it, now that Lula has won I want to see him, huh? When are you going to start teasing Lula, playing a joke? That’s right, yes, but at the same time, I’m under no obligation to do this or that,” she stated.
