Sergei Kolesnikov, Russian actor and host of the popular Fazenda program, died suddenly this morning from a stroke. This was reported to journalists by his son, actor Ivan Kolesnikov. According to him, despite the fact that Kolesnikov Sr. was immediately hospitalized at the Sklifosovsky Institute, the doctors could not save him.
This year, the actor, whose voice was spoken by Sean Connery in the Russian dubbing of James Bond, turned 68 years old. Sergei Valentinovich is survived by his wife, two sons and three granddaughters.

Recall that Sergey Kolesnikov gained his fame after his roles in the series “Petersburg Secrets” and “Truckers”. Also on his account were roles in Hollywood films – “Die Hard”, “Black Sea”, “Frozen Souls” and others. On television, he hosted only one program – “Fazenda” on Channel One, where he was the permanent host from May 21, 2006 to October 7, 2012. The last film in which Sergei Valentinovich managed to star is Anton Megerdichev’s historical drama The Heart of Parma. The film was awarded four statuettes of the Golden Eagle Award.
