Held last Monday (1), at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Met Gala 2023 had a red carpet full of celebrities who bet on different types of looks in honor of this year’s theme: “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty”, a tribute to the life and career of Karl Lagerfeld (1933-2019), the famous German fashion designer who went through brands such as Chanel and Fendi.

With bold, creative, classic and basic looks, the fashion event ended with an unexpected “twin” moment. That’s because the actress and director Olivia Wilde ended up wearing the same dress as Margaret Zhangeditor-in-chief of Vogue China.

The muses opted for a Chloé gown that featured the famous gold-embossed violin that Lagerfeld created in 1983 for the brand. The only difference between them was the details. While the director opted for a white version of the dress and added gold cuffs to match the violin (as in the original version), the editor-in-chief chose the black model with a train.
