In a couple of hours, an event will begin in London that will become a new chapter in the royal history of Great Britain – the coronation of Charles III. And one of the witnesses to this will be Kate Middleton, who all these days has taken an active part in the events preceding the ceremony. On each of them, the Princess of Wales showed an impeccable sense of style. The reception of heads of state and royals from around the world, held the day before at Buckingham Palace, was no exception.
For a special evening, Kate opted for a $510 Self-Portrait indigo cocktail dress with a criss-cross drape and high collar. She completed her look with Elizabeth II sapphire and diamond earrings, a Jenny Packham clutch and Aquazzura shoes. Judging by the pictures, Kate was able to charm not only fashion critics, but also distinguished guests who came to the coronation.

Note that over the past week, the royal family has been actively rehearsing the upcoming ceremony. So, one of the rehearsals coincided with the birthday of the daughter of Wales, Princess Charlotte, and the couple took part only at the beginning, in order to congratulate the girl on her 8th birthday as soon as possible and throw her a grand party with friends.
We, in turn, have already published an informative longread about the centuries-old coronation traditions of British monarchs and how the current King Charles III changed them.
