On May 6, a solemn event took place in Westminster Abbey – the coronation of Charles III, which was watched by 20 million Britons. Despite the controversy, the ceremony was still attended by the king’s youngest son, Prince Harry. After the official part, the Windsors and their guests gathered at Buckingham Palace for a gala dinner. Harry was also invited, but hurried to leave London and flew home to his wife Meghan Markle and children. On the same day, their eldest heir, Archie, turned 4 years old.
At the banquet in honor of the coronation, Charles III thanked all his relatives who supported him on this important day. The monarch also raised a toast to the young birthday boy. Carl wished Harry’s family all the best, “wherever they are.”

According to Page Six, the king was “genuinely disappointed” that his son did not stay to share the joy of the big event with him. He probably does not lose hope of ever reconnecting with Harry. The others, however, “breathed a sigh of relief” when they learned that Harry had not joined them. In fact, some even wondered why he even “took the trouble to come” if he only spent 28 hours in London.
Recall that the day after the coronation, King Charles and Queen Camilla appeared on the air of an American television show. They were invited there by Katy Perry and Lionel Richie, who became guests of the coronation concert. During the show “American Idol” hosts went on the air from London along with important guests. The appearance of Carl and Camilla was a real surprise for the audience.
