Who is Rita Lee’s husband
In 1976, Rita Lee found a life and musical partner in Roberto de Carvalho. Ney Matogrosso introduced the artist to the guitarist. The two made the union official only in 1996 after almost 20 years of dating and when the couple’s three children were already born.
“Marriage is not a cake recipe to follow. Marriage is a lottery whose prize is secret,” he told “Quem”. Rita and Roberto have had several collaborations together, including the hit “Mania de Você”, written by both. At the time, the famous revealed the inspiration for the song.
“I’ve never made romantic music because I’ve never seen myself involved in the theme to create. Now I’m married, I’m in love with my husband, my children. That’s why I wrote and sang ‘Mania de Você’, this salerosa ballad”, he explained to “Journal of Brazil”.
