51-year-old actress Jennifer Garner starred in a new video for Glamor magazine. The film star talked about some of the most stunning images of her on-screen heroines. Garner mentioned filming the 2003 film Daredevil, in which she starred alongside ex-husband Ben Affleck and actor Colin Farrell. Jennifer admitted that it was one of the most risky and uncomfortable costumes in history.
I was so close to tearing the suit the whole time. There isn’t enough tape in the world to make this stuff safer. Every time I needed to go to the toilet, I had to cut a piece of fabric out of my pants and sew it back on. This took about 45 minutes. Costume designer James Acheson just created the image of Elektra on me, step by step,” the actress shared.
Garner also recalled shooting in the film “From 13 to 30”. The film tells about a 13-year-old girl from the 80s, whose wish to wake up as an adult is fulfilled. Jennifer noted the work of costume designer Suzy Desanto, who managed to embody the atmosphere of that time.
She has such a great sense of character, color, fun, fashion, and she brought it all to life in 13 to 30. At each fitting, Susie had 10 variants of images ready. So we just had a great time together,” added Garner.
The actress also revealed that the iconic multi-colored dress of her character, 30-year-old Jenna, was actually seen in one of the episodes of “Sex and the City” on a minor character. Garner noted that no one knew it would make a big difference. Now the whereabouts of the iconic dress is unknown.
Recall that Garner recently starred in the series “The Last Thing He Said to Me,” which was presented in Los Angeles last month. As part of the promotional tour, the actress continued to be frank with reporters on topics related to her family. In a conversation, the star admitted that her children never watch projects with her participation. They prefer films starring their father Ben Affleck. Jennifer is raising Violet, 17, Serfina, 13, and Samuel, 11.
