The rapper is selling his latest US property
Canadian rapper Drake has decided to sell his luxury mansion in the mountains of Beverly Hills, just a year after acquiring it. The property has been listed with an asking price of $88 million (about 433 million reais), according to the TMZ portal.
The villa, which measures an impressive 2,000 square meters, was originally designed by renowned architects KAA Design Group for Armand Marciano, co-founder of clothing brand GUESS. Initially, the house boasted a Tuscan-style aesthetic. However, the previous owner, British singer Robbie Williams, opted for a contemporary makeover when he bought the townhouse in 2015.
Drake’s changes to the property have yet to be revealed, but pictures posted on a real estate website suggest the house has retained much of its original character.
Perched at the foot of Benedict Canyon, the mansion features an 11-car garage. The interiors adopt a minimalist design approach. Notable elements include a double-height entrance hall with a grand staircase, a large living room with two impressive fireplaces, a wine cellar, a gym, an elevator, a kitchen with two islands and a luxuriously appointed bathroom. Additionally, the property includes a separate staff wing.
In addition, the property has a full size tennis court, an outdoor kitchen and a hidden orchard, as highlighted in the ad. The complex covers nearly 20 acres.
While Drake’s new abode hasn’t been revealed, many have speculated that he is planning to move back to his hometown of Toronto. After all, he owns a lush 4,000-square-foot mansion.
