Ireland explained the choice of the name back in January on the air of the Girlboss Radio podcast (at the same time she accidentally revealed the gender of the child). The fact is that her famous parents named her herself Ireland, and she considered it necessary to name her own heiress in honor of some country. In addition, she liked this name from childhood.

I’m Ireland, so we chose a different country name and wanted to keep that consistency. I have always liked the name Holland. From early childhood. I just thought it was a very cool and beautiful name,” she said at the time.

Ireland declassified the pregnancy in December 2022, showing subscribers the results of an ultrasound scan. She documented all the stages of preparation for the birth of the baby and repeatedly complained of feeling unwell. The movie stars, considered one of the most beautiful couples in Hollywood, got married in 1993 and divorced in 2002. Ireland is their only common daughter.
