So, Jonas Brothers member Joe Jonas, on the air of the weekly podcast “Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard”, admitted that he was terribly jealous of his younger brother Nick Jonas after he took the mentor’s chair on the vocal show “Voice”. The news of Nick’s appointment reached Joe while he danced with abandon at the Fleetwood Mac concert at Madison Square Garden in March 2019.
It was in the most picturesque place, – the 33-year-old artist recalled. – I was so envious that I cried my eyes out to the song “Landslide”. Of course, it was bittersweet, and I was very happy for him, but also very upset, because I so wanted to be in this damn show!
Joe Jonas was a mentor on The Australian Voice for one season, in 2018. Then the third brother of Jonas, Kevin, said that he was more qualified for this job than Nick.
I just loved this job, so I thought, “What the hell?” Nick got it, though, and it was great.
Nick lit up at once in two seasons of The Voice – the 18th and 20th, after which he was replaced by pop diva Ariana Grande. And recently, both Nick and Joe were casting for the same film project, which will be released in 2024.
Joe Jonas is happily married to Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner. They got engaged in May 2019 and got married just a couple of months later. In July 2020, they became parents for the first time – then their daughter Willa was born. And two years later, in July 2022, Sophie gave birth to a second heir, whose gender and name the star parents still have not disclosed.
And in December 2022, Joe and Sophie put up for sale their mansion in Miami, which they acquired just a year earlier. According to realtors, the actors asked for the property in the amount of $ 17 million.
