May 21st The First Women’s Jewish Congress organized a holiday aimed at preserving the memory of the terrible events of World War II. The event includedSero-Russian baking of Afrashat Khala bread, lighting of candles and solemn award ceremony dedicated to Iyar 26 — Day of Salvation and Liberation. The celebration was attended by Valeria and Nikolai Baskov, who performed on stage that evening, Irina Aleksandrovna Viner, who opened the event, German Rashbilovich Zakharyaev, Yudit Sorkin, Laura Gavrilova, Yulianna Viner, Nelli Davydova, Annettes Rudman, Alina Kovaleva, Irina Shamilova, Alexandra Serova and a lot others.
