Simony announces new hospitalization to treat cancer: “heavier”

Singer Simony shared that she will undergo a re-hospitalization on Tuesday (5/30) as part of her treatment for bowel cancer. Through a video, she expressed her feelings about this difficult time and justified her recent silence on digital platforms.

“I know I’m lost. You know I always like to share all the things about the treatment with you, how am I…anyway. But this treatment is really heavier. I am and am much more tired, with more tiredness and a little of nausea,” the singer expressed.

Despite the obstacles, Simony maintains a positive attitude to recover as soon as possible: “But everything’s fine. I’ll have another exam soon to see how the immune system is doing with the chemotherapy, and then I’ll come back to tell you more about the situation. But anyway ‘is: one day at a time with so much faith and so much tranquillity”.

Simony clarified that her treatment plan includes fortnightly hospitalizations: “I am hospitalized every two weeks. I am doing chemo and radio[terapia]. Then I’ll come back to tell you more. One day at a time, with a lot of faith and tranquility”.

In the description of the video, she emphasized her interest in keeping her fans up to date: “As always, I love sharing things with you so I can empower others who are going through the same process… one day at a time.”
