Recently, Cugula posted on his Instagram account two messages that he sent to Bruna. One, since November 2021, has invited the actress to a barbecue. Another, more recent, spoke of a closed meeting for the actors of Mulheres Apaixonadas.

Bruna, according to Cugula, ignored the messages, and this was the reason for her post.

What he didn’t expect is that the post would take on important proportions, despite the fact that Cugula has just over 16,000 followers, against Bruna Marquezine’s over 4 million.

In an interview with the Gshow website, the former actor said it was all a joke. According to him, the goal was to answer those who still ask him if he is in contact with Bruna Marquezine.

“It was a total joke! I never imagined it would have all these proportions, it was a very fast thing. When I left the workout, I looked at it and said: ‘Wow, that’s it!’ It was a joke I usually make with people, with my friends, because people ask me: ‘But then, exchange some ideas with Bruna, does she still talk to you?’ “, she told Gshow.

Cugula explained that, because of the post, he suffered from some haters, but reiterates that it was all a joke and that his intention was not to unmask or lead people to think that Bruna Marquezine is obnoxious.

“It wasn’t about exposing Bruna Marquezine at all, because I see there were some people who did it in a bit of a twisted way. Like, ‘Vitor Cugula exposes the conversation with Bruna.’ He wasn’t with that intention of putting him off as an unsympathetic person, it was just a joke.”

After Mulheres Apaixonadas, Cugula acted in only two other productions, Start over (2004) and Soul mate (2005), as well as some experiences in the theater.
