Lindsay Lohan appeared on the cover of the new issue of Allure magazine. The actress, who is now expecting her first child, gave an interview to the publication and said that she is living the happiest period in her life. However, soon after giving birth, Lohan plans to return to work.
I can’t wait to find out what it feels like and what it’s like to be just a mom,” Lindsey said.
The star isn’t going to be on maternity leave for long as Disney announced a sequel to the actress’ highest-grossing film, Freaky Friday. In it, she starred in 2003 with Jamie Lee Curtis. Lohan said that she was worried about the upcoming filming, which will have to be combined with motherhood, but a colleague gave her advice.
I recently spoke with Jamie Lee Curtis and she said: “Just take the baby with you and everything will be fine,” said the star.
Now the actress is in her hometown – New York. Here she plans to hold a party in honor of the unborn child and stay with her family. Lindsey has been living in Dubai for the past few years and has no plans to return to the US yet. She likes Dubai in large part because of the privacy law that operates in the Emirates and practically prohibits the activity of paparazzi.
I think it happened organically. Every morning – tea, yogurt, smoothies and workout. Sometimes I call my life “The Truman Show” because every day is the same. But I like it. I really love this mode, because in my youth I did not have it. Everything happened so fast and I had so many events. I only had shooting and being on set,” Lohan said.
The actress found out about the pregnancy while in New York on the press tour of the film Fall in Love with Christmas. She spent that day with her mother and was preparing for an imminent flight to Dubai, when she felt some changes in herself. Lindsey recalls what she said to her mother:
I think I’m pregnant.
Lohan is expecting a child with Arab financier Bader Shammas. The actress secretly married him last year. The marriage took place on the birthday of the film star. At the time of the marriage, Lindsey and Bader had known each other for more than 2 years. This year, the actress congratulated her lover on the first serious anniversary.
