A new detail regarding the actor’s death Jeff Macchado and her relationship with television producer Bruno Rodrigues was revealed by the artist’s mother, Maria das Dores. After reporting a conversation with the son about who is now the prime suspect of the terrible murder, Maria related the requests that Bruno would have made to Jeff to get him a role in Globo’s seven o’clock soap opera.
It is worth noting that by this point, January 2023, Bruno had already been fired from the Rio de Janeiro broadcaster. In that same month, Jeff has mysteriously disappeared and ended up dead, aged 44. Maria told the ‘Extra’ newspaper that Bruno allegedly asked Jeff to let his hair grow out and gain some weight for his alleged role in the nine storyline, which is set to begin taping on Jan. 26. In addition, the artist told the family that she may also need to travel to São Paulo due to her new job.
“Jeff called me and said that Bruno had asked him to grow his hair out a few months ago. After that, he called again and said the orientation was to lose weight. My son seemed uncomfortable with the requests , but he believed he was going to play the character,” he explained.
