The trial against the bank has ended and the singer was entitled to compensation for moral damages
The singer and songwriter Lulu Santos received from Banco do Brasil compensation of BRL 17,791.21 for non-pecuniary damages in a lawsuit in which his name was improperly entered in the list of defaulters at Serasa/SPC (Credit Protection Service) for credit card debts .
Lulu went to court and was able to prove that the expenses incurred between October and November 2021 in the states of São Paulo and Recife were not made by him, although the two credit cards used for the purchases were in his name.
The singer has shown that he does not know of their existence and that he has not spent the constant R $ 4,980.12 on debt.
Lulu’s lawsuit against the bank took place in the 44th Civil Court in Rio de Janeiro. Lulu was awarded a total amount of BRL 23,326.91, of which BRL 17,791.21 was for pain and suffering and the remainder to cover expenses and legal costs.
Lulu has not commented on the case.
