The widow will not participate in sharing the assets of the presenter, who died in 2019

Rose Miriam, widow of Gugu Liberato, will not have the right to the inheritance of the presenter, who died in 2019, following a decision of the Supreme Court of Justice (STJ). In any case, she will not be destitute: the presenter having died, the doctor receives a monthly pension.

The decision confirmed the validity of the will left by Gugu, which divided his assets between his children and grandchildren. Rose, who was seeking in court to prove her affair with the host, was barred from sharing her.

Since 2019, the year in which the presenter died after falling down the stairs at his villa in Orlando, in the United States, the widow has received 10,000 US dollars (about R$50,000) every month. In addition to the allowance, Rose also had a villa that belonged to the presenter.

The property, which is located in Alphaville, an upscale neighborhood in São Paulo, has a value of R $ 6 million and has more than a thousand m². The doctor won the residency in 2012 but decided to sell the property last year, when she entrusted the house to her children.
