Manoel Soares says there are no complaints against him to Globo: “Defamation is a crime”

In a statement, the broadcaster said it would not comment on the case. “Globo does not comment on compliance cases and reiterates that it does not tolerate any type of abuse. The company maintains a Code of Ethics, which must be respected by all employees, in every area. It also has an Ombudsman ready to receive any reports of violations. Each report is carefully investigated as soon as the company becomes aware of it and the necessary measures are taken.”
