Britney Spears will continue to be a fan of Victor Wembanyama
This Friday, July 7, the singer once again expressed her feelings about the incident and claimed that despite everything, will continue to be a fan of the basketball player of the San Antonio Spurs. However, he took the opportunity to reflect on the work of the security teams.
“I’ve been in the industry for years and I’ve been with some of the most famous people in the world… N’SYNC was like the Beatles at one point… their girls were flying everywhere we went… Not once in my life has a security guard hit a person. I’m not sharing this to be a victim… I honestly get it… my reaction is priceless…”
Britney likened the situation to the “helplessness” she feels about documentaries being released without her approval, but she appreciates the concern of those in attendance.
“The people who really surrounded me when they heard me get hit made me feel like I mattered. I didn’t know it at the time… all they could hear was me saying fuck everybody… That was so much better than him fight back.”
Finally, he clarified that Wembanyama is not to blame for the attack: “In any case, I’m still a big fan of the NBA player… It’s not his faulthis security hit me…this crap…happening!” he condemned.
Wembanyama did not see Britney Spears
A day after the commotion, the new addition to the San Antonio Spurs gave his version of events to reporter Nate Ryan: “We were in a hallway and there was a lot of people, so obviously people were calling me.”
Victor said he heard someone say his name repeatedly, but didn’t realize it was Britney Spears.
“This person grabbed me from behind, I didn’t see what happened because I was walking straight and they said, ‘Don’t stop.’ She grabbed me from behind so I know she was pushed by security“.
When the athlete returned to the hotel, he discovered the extent of the incident, as his security team informed him that the assailant was the singer.
“At first I said, ‘No, you’re kidding.’ But yeah, it turns out it was Britney Spears, I didn’t know because I didn’t see her. I never saw his face. I kept walking straight,” he said.
