Xuxa withdrew the more serious Marlene Mattos controversy for fear of obscuring the rest of the documentary. Understand more details!
The abuse Xuxa suffered at the hands of Marlene Mattos reverberated this week, on the eve of the presenter’s documentary on Globoplay. However, there is one controversial fact of the two’s troubled relationship that was left out of the product.
The information had already been confirmed by Xuxa during the press conference held last Monday (10), in which Purepeople took part. The testimony on the subject was even recorded, but Rainha dos Baixinhos and Pedro Bial, director of the documentary, thought it appropriate to exclude it from the final edition.
“I already walked out of there saying ‘please, Pedro, don’t put it’ because I said it there at that moment without thinking about it. Or rather: I even thought about saying it, but not everyone is preparing to hear the things I said there. He said, “okay, I was already thinking about bringing it up, I thought you had gone too far.” I talk too much. It’s not in the doc, but there are things I really didn’t need [ter dito]”, she said.
In the press conference, Xuxa he also explained why he preferred to leave the subject out of the documentary. “It’s not the time for me to talk yet, because I think people would just talk about it,” she explained.

Xuxa told reporter Leo Dias whose controversial attitude of Marlene was left out of the documentary. During the “Fofocalizando” broadcast, the communicator guarantees that she will keep her promise never to expose the fact to the public, but he did not fail to show her astonishment.
