Woman arrested for allegedly selling drugs that killed Robert De Niro’s nephew


According to the newspaper, Sofia Haley Marks, known as Princess Percocet, was arrested during an undercover investigation




On Thursday 13, a woman was arrested on charges of selling pills mixed with fentanyl which allegedly killed Leandro De Niro, 19, nephew of actor Robert De Niro, according to information from the New York Post.

According to the newspaper, the woman is Sofia Haley Marks, 20, and she is a drug dealer known as Princess Percocet. She was arrested in an undercover investigation conducted by NYPD, Drug Administration AND National Security.

Last week, Drena, mother of Leandro and daughter of Robert De Niro, said she believed fentanyl would have caused her son’s death.

“Someone sold him fentanyl pills [analgésico narcótico] which they knew were mixed, but sold them to him anyway. To all these people still selling and buying this shit, my son is gone forever,” she said, interacting with an Instagram follower.

Second tmz extensionthe drug is about 100 times more potent than morphine and 50 times stronger than heroin as a pain reliever.

Before Drena shared details about her son’s death, a police source said daily email that a “white powdery substance” was found “on a plate” near the body. To the tmz extensionanother contact with authorities confirmed that Leandro’s death is being investigated for an overdose.

Leandro was the son of Drena and Carlos Rodriguez. Like his grandfather, Robert De Niro, he was dedicated to cinema. He had already worked in three productions, the latest of which in a star was born (2018), feature film with Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper.
