Andressa Urach loses custody of her one-year-old son

Thiago Lopes, ex-husband of Andressa Urach, has announced that he has obtained unilateral custody of his son Leon, who is only one year old. The entrepreneur celebrated the decision on social media, writing: “Unilateral custody granted to dad”. Lopes was already temporarily responsible for the child after the separation and now, after a court decision, will definitively assume responsibility for all decisions in the boy’s life until he turns 18.

He can still appeal the decision, but has not commented on the case so far.

The problems started with the epidemic

The former Fazenda was even hospitalized and estranged from her son due to a bipolar outbreak last year. After being discharged, she and her husband agreed to divorce.

The custody battle over the child began earlier in the year when Lopes was granted an interim judicial clearance to raise the child.

In March he had already admitted his concern about the court’s decision: “The provisional guard was with Thiago, because of all this [surto e internação] what happened. What everything indicates is that the guard will stay with him. He’s a very intelligent man, lawyer. He manages to write a very good defense.”

Urach also vented on the situation, declaring that he had resigned himself to the legal battle because “he gave reasons for this to happen”, referring to the outburst, in which he spoke of making a “sacrifice” with Leon.

She also recalled her time in a psychiatric hospital: “Today I understand why I was admitted to the psychiatric hospital. When you are in that state, you have no control over things. Psychotic outbreaks can occur in these states. I started to believe that Jesus would come back, I lost count of what was real and what wasn’t.”
