The artist, who gave an exclusive interview to Patrícia Poeta, confessed his biggest regrets and plans for the future
This Thursday 10, the Queen of the Little People, Xuxaparticipated in the Meeting with Patrizia Poeta in an exclusive interview
When asked about the impact of Xuxa: The documentary, Xuxa recounted the experiences – good and bad – that appear during the production. “You haven’t seen a third of what I’ve been through.”
For her, her successes and her mistakes have been similar throughout her life. “I trusted the wrong people too much and the right people. I had people I shouldn’t trust, I also had people who believed in me and I trusted them too.” According to the artist, the biggest “falls” of her life came from this exacerbated trust in other people.
Despite this, Xuxa is very proud of her trajectory. “Working for children, having the space I had on television, no one has taken advantage of it like me. No one has had the opportunity that I have had, to obtain what I have achieved”.
“My audience has been the big hit of my life,” he said.
For her, a great fear was that success in her career was incompatible with success in love. “I’ve put myself in a very strange place,” she said. “I thought, ‘I’m not going to have a boyfriend, a boy who likes me the way I am. I want to be a mother, I thought about doing artificial insemination, not putting a man in my life.'”
Xuxa, which is with Junno Andrade 13 years ago, I didn’t expect to find someone like him. “I did not imagine that someone lived, died on the side.” According to her, the relationship with her boyfriend started casually and now they want to grow old together: “I want to grow old alongside him. He fits into my life”.
“You know that thing about being together until the last breath? It’s him I want.”
He also talked about some elements of his look: the classic boots, shoulder pads and “xuxinhas”. “When I arrived in Rio de Janeiro, of course I wanted to wear Southern boots. People thought it was absurd. And when they think it’s ridiculous, you have to insist.”
“People thought ‘xuquinha pebbles’ were ugly, I put two, I put five. People thought the shoulder pad was ridiculous, I made it bigger. I’ve never met a person who liked to attract l ‘attention as much as I do’.
Xuxa, who confessed that she dreams of being a grandmother, turned 60 in March. “[Estou] old but hot,” he joked.
