Actress and entrepreneur Marina Ruy Barbosa started dating businessman Abdul Fares during the first show of his clothing brand, Ginger, on Wednesday night, 9, in Rio de Janeiro.

Abdul Fares was born in São Paulo and is of Lebanese origin. He is the nephew of Abdul Hadi Mohamed Fares, founder of Marabraz furniture stores. A graduate in business administration, he is a partner of LP Real Estate, which operates in the real estate sector, financial director of Marabraz and founder of BlueGroup, which manages the retailer’s e-commerce.

Marina had been single since December last year, when her relationship with MP Guilherme Mussi ended. She was also married for three years to the car driver and businessman Alexandre Negrão. They announced the end of their marriage in 2021.

The actress will be in the new soap opera at 7pm on Tv Globo, fuzuê, which will debut on August 14. Marina will play the villain Preciosa Montebello, owner of a jewelry store.
