The driver of the app Diones Coelho da Silva, who hit the actor Kayky Brito, shared this Friday (15th), who took the car in for repairs. After the accident, the man opened a fundraiser, which raised more than R$176,000, to pay for the repairs of the vehicle.
On his social media the man thanked him for his help. “Thank you to everyone who helped. Without you it wouldn’t have been possible! Thank you”, he wrote. Shortly after the accident, Diones recorded a video asking for help to repair the car, which was used for work. The goal was to raise R$ 30,000 to cover insurance, vehicle payments and an amount to be maintained while the car was being repaired.
Honesty created havoc, resulting in the driver getting much more than he asked for. He informed that the rest of the sum will be donated. Last Monday, the 11th, a passenger transporter lent him a vehicle until his car was repaired.

The driver was taken to the Instituto Médico-Legal (IML), where he was subjected to a blood alcohol test in which, according to the police, no alcohol intake was found. In a statement to the police, the driver of the vehicle said the actor “suddenly ran across the road.” He also said that he was in the left lane and tried to swerve into the right lane, but was unable to avoid the collision.
