Prince William took to the streets of London as a paperboy and became a social media star

Just three days after the widespread celebration of the platinum anniversary of Elizabeth II and the unexpectedly quick return of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to America, members of the royal family again reminded of themselves. But this time in a very unexpected and completely unofficial way.

Last Thursday, Londoners, hurrying to work, saw Prince William on the street of the city. The future king, dressed in the uniform of an ordinary newspaper peddler, sold copies of the Big Issue magazine to passers-by. This publication, dedicated to the problems of homelessness and unemployment, is usually distributed by people living below the poverty line – so, in the absence of any income, they can earn their own bread. But what was the surprise of the British when they saw the Queen’s grandson in this role! Not surprisingly, the Duke of Cambridge sold magazines like hot cakes, and photos of Londoners with William went viral on social networks, collecting more than one hundred enthusiastic comments.

Last Thursday here in the center of London I decided to take a stroll along Rochester Row in Westminster, very close to Buckingham Palace. Almost immediately I discovered a tall, well-built, handsome gentleman who looked terribly familiar. And how amazed I was when I realized that it was Prince William himself. Not a double – the future king! No fanfare, no extravaganza – just the prince of Great Britain worked like an ordinary guy. He was more than happy to break the royal protocol and allowed me to photograph him on that sunny day, one of the Internet users told about the meeting with William.

What an honor to be alone with our future king who was humble and quietly working in the background helping those most in need,” wrote another on social media.

Prince William made the best impression as a very warm person who cares about ordinary people.

It seems that you can’t think of a better PR move!
