Dayanara Torres has announced that her relationship with television producer and director Marcelo Gama has come to an end.
The 48-year-old presenter took to her Instagram stories this Friday, September 22 to announce the news.
“Marcello and I have decided to end our relationship of two and a half years,” she wrote at the beginning of her letter, which she superimposed over a photo of herself.

Although the host of Despierta América did not share the reasons why the romance ended, she expressed a reflection on the situation.
“At this stage in my life, I look at relationships differently, if it’s not forever, I have to teach…” he said.
“I will always thank you for the beautiful moments we lived, the lessons we learned and for believing in me so much. And although we are no longer together, the respect and admiration will always be there,” he assured.
Dayanara Torres indicated that she will continue to work with Marcelo Gama “on important projects”. They have previously shared shows such as Premios Juventud 2023.
“It will always have a special place in my heart,” she said. “I’m taking with me what I’ve learned…” he noted to end his message.
So far the businessman has not commented on the matter. On his own profile on the social network, he posted a “selfie” and mentioned that he would be in Yosemite National Park, located in California.

In July, the former beauty queen opened up about her then-partner in front of the cameras of the Univision show, which she is a part of.
“I think he’s a person who gives me so much peace, that’s one of the things that fascinates me the most about him,” she explained.
“He’s extremely calm. Chaos can happen, there can be a hurricane, the tent can fall and it’s (the) calmer,” he said.
On that occasion, Dayanara Torres was asked about the possibility of reaching the altar with Marcelo Gama at some point.
“I don’t know if I would get married. Right now what I want is to enjoy this wonderful scene,” he replied without giving a resounding “no”.
The Puerto Rican did not miss the opportunity to make it clear that she was happy to find love again. She was married to Marc Anthony and later began a relationship with Luis D’Esposito.
“I think it’s a gift, it’s a blessing that God kept it for me until the end. I’m happy. It was time and I deserved it,” he said.
