Ana Maria Braga says Carmen Miranda did what “Anitta does today” outside Brazil

Ana Maria Braga beat Gil do Vigor in Lip sync battle played this Sunday, 24th, at Sunday with Huck. She performed songs by Rita Lee and Carmen Miranda, characterized as the artists. In extolling the importance of the actress who died in 1955, she made a comparison with Anita.

“For those who do not know this character, Carmen Miranda – there are two generations that have not had the opportunity to know who she was and who this woman is – in relation to us women from all over Brazil, because she was the first woman to represent Brazil outside of Brazil and to succeed, as Anitta does today”, he underlined.
