Ludmilla protests against PL who wants to ban LGBTQIAPN+ marriages in Brazil

Ludmilla used social media this Wednesday (27/9) to express her indignation against the bill (PL) aimed at banning homosexual unions in Brazil, currently under discussion in Congress. Married to dancer Brunna Gonçalves, the singer found it hard to believe that something like this could be discussed by parliamentarians in 2023.

Along with her wedding video, she wrote about the peace of mind of knowing that we will always be able to enjoy everything the world has to offer, without worrying about whether we will be able to count on our family rights after fulfilling so many duties.”

In his outburst, the artist cited his relationships and those of other famous people, such as Paulo Gustavo (1978-2021) and Thales Bretas and Nanda Costa and Lan Lanh: “Here I ask permission to speak on behalf of all Ludmila , Brunna , Paulos , Thales, Nandas, Lan Lanhs, because love, this, in an instant, you can deny us. #OAmorVence #MarriageLGBTYes”.

The PL against homosexual unions will be discussed this Wednesday in the Social Security and Family Commission of the Chamber of Deputies. The text, however, has yet to receive the favorable opinion of the Human Rights Commission, where it will have to be vetoed.

Repercussion

Ludmilla’s post received a lot of support from followers, including celebrities and politicians.

“The country needs so many things and kids are worried about stopping people from getting married,” one Internet user complained. “It’s a crazy step backwards to even think about this,” another noted.
