Last Monday (25th), Britney shared a video in which she appears dancing with knives in hand. In the caption she wrote: “Today I started playing with knives in the kitchen.” Following comments from concerned fans, Spears added that the knives were Halloween props.

However, some people did not believe the singer’s story, as it is possible to hear the sound of knives when touching each other. Furthermore, shortly after, Britney posted another video with a bandage on her arm and a cut on her leg, which left fans even more worried.

It turns out that many fans called the police, who visited the singer’s house. According to TMZ, police sources revealed that they received calls last Wednesday (27th) from people worried about Britney. As a precaution, the Ventura County, California Sheriff’s Department went to Spears’ residence to make sure she was okay.

In response to what happened, the singer spoke on Thursday (28) and explained that fans shouldn’t worry. Furthermore he again stated that the knives are fake. “I know I scared a lot of people with my last post, but these are fake knives that my team rented from the Hand Prop store in Los Angeles.”He explained.
