Diones Coelho da Silva told the program that he had contacted the family of Kayky, who was discharged last Friday after almost a month of hospitalization at the Copa D’Or hospital, in Rio de Janeiro.
“I haven’t found him yet, but I also looked for him. I wanted to hug him, talk about the love of God. Because I believe that all this has a greater purpose. Now it depends on their time and their recovery,” said the app drivers.
Diones also said in the interview that he had contact with Sthefany Brito, Kayky’s sister, shortly after the incident, when he was blocked by the app companies. “I went online to say that I could no longer work, that my car was completely broken down. It had been blocked by the apps. After I published this video, she contacted me”, says the professional.
The police investigation concluded that Diones was below the authorized speed limit on the road he was driving. For this reason, the driver, who helped the actor shortly after the accident, will not be reported, which is why he says he is “relieved”.
Diones also said he didn’t immediately recognize that it was Kayky Brito. In the interview he said that only later, listening to people approaching the scene, did he realize that it was the actor. “That’s when I noticed it. I had already seen it on television, when I saw Chocolate com Pimenta”, he commented.
