October arrives with several new features for Netflix, which is constantly committed to improving and expanding its catalog. There are productions for all ages and all tastes! To celebrate Children’s Month, “Sonic 2: The Movie” promises to delight little ones, as well as adults who love the blue hedgehog game.
The 2000s classic, “Mean Girls”, also arrives on the streaming platform. The film has a sharp and intelligent script that masterfully satirizes the clichés and stereotypes typical of teen films. Lovers of the “Lupin” series, however, can take a look at the third season, which continues to mix elements of action, suspense and family drama.

1. Sonic 2: The Movie (01/10)
“Sonic 2: The Movie” continues the sequence of events from the first live, based on the hit game. In the second feature film, the famous blue hedgehog settles in Green Hills and longs for more freedom, wanting to prove his worth as a true hero. However, his test comes when Tom and Maddie decide to leave him at home to go to a wedding in Hawaii.
Unfortunately, the date coincides with the return of the terrible Doctor Robotnik, who returns with a new ally, Knuckles, after being exiled to the mushroom planet. The villain is determined to find an emerald with unimaginable powers of destruction.
Then, Sonic teams up with his new partner, Tails. Together, they embark on a thrilling journey to find the emerald before it falls into the wrong hands and causes the ruin of civilizations.

2. Bad Girls (01/10)
“Mean Girls” is a teen comedy released in 2004. It tells the story of Cady Heron, a young woman who grows up in Africa and is starting her school life in a public school in the United States. There, she struggles with fitting in and ends up getting involved with a popular girl group, led by Regina George.
As Cady infiltrates the group, she finds herself drawn into games of intrigue, gossip, and manipulation. The film deals with themes such as friendship, identity, popularity and challenges of adolescencewhile the protagonist is forced to face the consequences of her actions and question her moral choices.

3. Lupine – 3rd season (05/10)
“Lupin” is a French series of modern retellings of the adventures of the famous thief and master of disguise Arsène Lupine, created by the writer Maurice Leblanc. In the first season, the plot revolves around Assane Diop, a man inspired by Lupin’s exploits, who becomes a skilled thief and strategist to avenge the injustice committed against his father in the past.
In the third season, Assane, unable to bear the suffering of a life in hiding, away from his wife and son, makes the courageous decision to return to Paris. He proposes a radical change to his family: leaving France behind and starting life again in a new country.
However, the traumas of his past continue to haunt him, and the surprising reappearance of an unexpected figure threatens to derail his carefully laid plans.

4. Bocca Grossa – Season 7 (20/10)
“Big Mouth” is an adult animated series that humorously addresses the challenges and embarrassing situations of puberty. The plot follows a group of teenagers, including Nick, Andrew, Jessi, Jay and Missy, as they deal with the complexities of transitioning into adolescence.
Featuring fictional characters and exaggerated situations, the plot explores themes of sexuality, identity, relationships, and the confusion inherent in this time of self-discovery, all with a touch of bold, satirical humor.
In this seventh season, we can see that leaving elementary school can be a much more intense experience than it seems, especially when hormone monsters are always present to make everything more chaotic.

5. The bright side of being cheated on (25/10)
In “The Bright Side of Being Betrayed”, the protagonist Babi faces a emotional crisis when she discovers that her boyfriend has cheated on her. Instead of letting it get her down, she sees the betrayal as an opportunity to revitalize her love for her and her sex life.
Then the young woman meets Marco, a mysterious and attractive judge with some hidden secrets. However, as she becomes deeply involved, she realizes that this journey of romance and passion could be far more dangerous than she imagined, with risky consequences.
The film is an adaptation of the book by Brazilian writer Débora Gimenez, under the pseudonym Sue Hecker. Explores themes of betrayal, desire, secrets and the complexities of romantic relationships.
