The theater director and stage assistant Gonçalo Roque, 86 years old, known for being the right-hand man of Silvio Santo, is hospitalized in a private hospital in Sao Paulo. He was admitted to hospital after collapsing at home. The information was confirmed on Wednesday 4th by his wife Janilda Nogueira.

On her personal profile, Roque’s wife asked for prayers from the public, as well as posting photos of Roque in the hospital room. “Maria go ahead, protect @Roquesbt. Make sure her tests are normal and stop scaring us. God is responsible for faith, everything will work out.”

In February 2023, Silvio Santos’ former assistant was hospitalized after suffering a domestic accident in an apartment building in Jundiaí, in the interior of São Paulo. At the time, Roque said he slipped on a stone ramp and injured his arm.
“We immediately went to the hospital because, for those who don’t know, I have a valve in my head and I can’t get injured. A CT scan was done and thank God everything is fine… I had this injury on my arm and we we are taking care, dressing and administering the medicines prescribed by the doctor,” he said at the time.
