According to the plastic surgeon Alexandre Kataokacoordinator of the Technical Chamber of the CRM-SP (Regional Council of Medicine of the State of São Paulo), the technique can be dangerous and even cause a stroke.
Complications of surgery
“In this type of liposuction performed by Slovenia Marques, the patient’s fat is removed from areas such as the abdomen, waist, back or arms. The material must then be worked back into a purer form to the abdominal muscles. The responsible doctor has only 60 minutes to complete the treatment of the fat and thus avoid the risk of infections”, explained Alexandre Kataoka. The doctor also warned that this type of surgery can have complications, resulting in thrombosis and pulmonary embolism, in addition to stroke.
