The actor Marco Caruso71 years old, he revealed he was almost hit by a cyclist last Thursday, 12th, while he was walking in an avenue in the Ipanema neighborhood, in the southern area of Rio de Janeiro.
In an outburst on social media, Caruso said that the man was a delivery man who was pedaling in the wrong direction. According to him, the cyclist behaved rudely after hearing the actor’s complaint.
“Instead of apologizing, the gesture was to raise the middle finger after hearing my complaint,” the actor said.
And he continues: “I’m not just thinking of myself, but of an entire population who lives daily with cyclists and motorcyclists who travel the streets of Rio against traffic, without any action being taken.”
“And as for the unsuspecting tourists (yes, because maybe the authorities don’t remember, Rio is still a tourist city) I can’t help but use both hands in the ‘do what?’ gesture,” he added.
Caruso lives in Ipanema with her partner, nursing assistant Marcos Paiva. Currently, the actor is starring in the comedy Indecent intimacywho stars alongside Eliane Giardini.
