Player Neymar Jr made a publication in Stories on his Instagram profile to reassure fans after going through a knee operationthis Thursday, 2.

“Everything went well, thanks for the messages and now it’s time to focus on recovery,” Neymar wrote.

On Thursday afternoon, the Brazilian football and Al-Hilal star underwent surgery, in Belo Horizonte, to treat a cruciate ligament and meniscus injury. The procedure took about four hours. There were no complications.

The doctor of Atlético-MG and the Brazilian team, Rodrigo Lasmar, was responsible for the operation. He operated on number 10 on other occasions, including in Belo Horizonte, at the Mater Dei Hospital. Neymar submitted a request to Al-Hilal to have the procedure performed in Brazil. The Arab club accepted the request.

The player has a two-year contract with the Saudi team, which will pay his salary until he recovers.

New injury for number 10
