Record television presenter Ana Hickmann released a note this morning, Sunday 12th, in which she claims to have had a “disagreement” with her husband, the entrepreneur Alexandre Correa, on the afternoon of Saturday 11th. The case was registered at the Station Itu Police Headquarters (SP), 99 km from the capital Sao Paulo, where the couple lives. The news site g1 had access to the police report recorded by Ana. According to the document, the police were called around 3.50pm on Saturday to go to the couple’s home after an argument.
Ana reported to the police station that she was in the kitchen of the house with her husband when they started arguing. The couple’s only child, 10-year-old Alexandre, reportedly witnessed the start of the disagreement.
According to the accident report obtained by the g1Ana reported that, after the argument, she attempted to access an outside area of the house to get a cell phone and call the police. At that moment Correa suddenly closed a sliding door, putting pressure on her left arm. The document also states that the presenter was the victim of “headbutts” by her husband.
Correa denied the attack to journalist Leo Dias, who reported the case on Sunday morning. “Where did they get this from? Look, there must be some mistake, I don’t think they are dealing with the same person,” Correa was quoted as saying. The businessman also said that he was not at home and that Ana was sleeping at the time.
