Neighbors called the police after a “suspicious movement” at the actress’ home
The palace of Bruna Lombardi, 71 years old, was robbed by three men on the night of Sunday 19th. The property is located in Morumbi, an elegant neighborhood in the south of Sao Paulo. The actress was not present at the crime scene. She is married to fellow actor Carlos Alberto Riccelli, 77 years old.
Wanted by Earth, the Secretariat of Public Security reported that three men, aged 26, 27 and 30, were arrested on charges of residential burglary, receiving stolen goods and conspiracy to commit a crime. Bruna Lombardi’s personal effects were recovered by the Military Police of São Paulo.
According to the police report, neighbors noticed a man with a “suspicious attitude” parking his car in front of the actress’s mansion. They then called the police. After carrying out an on-site check, officers noticed that the vehicle was stolen and had a tampered with license plate. Then, inside the property, they arrested the man who confessed to having participated in a robbery.
A 380 caliber pistol and Bruna Lombardi’s objects were found and seized inside the car. At that moment, the other two criminals attempted to leave the villa by driving another car, but, when they saw the police officers, they abandoned the vehicle and tried to flee on foot. The police then arrested them too.
The case was registered at the 89th Police District (DP), Portal do Morumbi, as burglary of a dwelling, tampering with the identification mark of a motor vehicle, receiving stolen goods, illegal possession of a firearm authorized fire, location and seizure of a vehicle and criminal conspiracy.
The three prisoners remain at the disposal of Justice. In the next few hours it is planned to go to the villa of the technical-scientific police to carry out the expert checks.
