Why did 23-year-old Clara Benevides die during Taylor Swift’s concert? Let’s see what the preliminary report says
The death of Clara Benevide moved the Internet last weekend. The 23-year-old died during the singer’s concert Taylor Swift Friday 11/17 in Rio de Janeiro.
According to the first report released, the psychology student had small hemorrhages in her lungs. The information is part of the preliminary report from the Legal Medical Institute (IML).
In an interview with CNN, case delegate Juliana Almeida explained what can cause this specific symptom. “Heat, sunstroke and dehydration are some of these factors, but without the test results we cannot say this is the case. Now it is premature to say that Ana Clara died of hyperthermia (excess heat). If everything turns out to be negative, we could come to the conclusion that the heat is to blame“, he has declared.
Clara Benevides’ parents cry
In Fantástico, Clara’s parents mourned the death of their daughter. “You don’t realize yet. It’s hard for you, because you’re coming to get your daughter… And you’re dead,” says his father, José Weiny Machado.
The mother also said: “My daughter is my angel. God took her, but she took her at the happiest time of her life, which was exactly what she wanted, that’s all. ‘Mom, if I can’t go to this show, I’m going to die,’ she told me.”
